5083 aluminum bar belongs to the Al-Mg-Si series alloy. It is a
widely used anti-rust aluminum and has good formability, corrosion
resistance, and medium strength. The main alloy element of the 5083
aluminum bar is magnesium which has good formability. Processing
performance and corrosion resistance cannot be strengthened by heat
treatment. 5083 aluminum bar has good plasticity when semi-cold
work hardening, low plasticity when cold work hardening, good
corrosion resistance, and good machinability and polishing.
