aluminum alloy in the 2xxx series.
2024 aluminum alloy sheet is a kind of high-strength hard aluminum,
that can be strengthened by heat treatment; 2024 aluminum alloy
sheet has good spot welding weldability, and has a tendency to form
intergranular cracks during gas welding and argon arc welding; 2024
aluminum alloy sheet can be cut after cold work hardening
Performance is good. The corrosion resistance is not high, and
anodizing treatment and painting methods are often used or the
surface is coated with an aluminum layer to improve the corrosion
resistance.
